Privacy Policy

ClubLitty helps people discover nightlife and helps verified venue representatives maintain ClubLitty-owned venue information. This policy describes what we collect and why.

Search and location

You may search by text or choose to share your browser location. Browser location is used to center the current search and calculate nearby results. ClubLitty does not intentionally log or permanently store your precise search coordinates. You can deny location access and search by city, ZIP code, neighborhood or landmark instead.

ChatGPT plugin

The public ClubLitty ChatGPT plugin receives only the location and nightlife preferences needed for the request, along with venue IDs returned by ClubLitty when you ask for details, comparisons or a plan. The plugin does not request account credentials, payment-card data, precise GPS coordinates or full chat history. ClubLitty does not create a user profile from plugin searches or retain those search inputs after the request is completed. Google processes the venue lookup as described below.

Information you submit

We collect information you choose to submit, including contact details, account role, saved venue identifiers, venue claim evidence, inquiry content, reviews, photos, captions, corrections and live reports. Published reviews, display names, photos and captions are visible to other visitors. Your account email is not shown with those contributions. Do not submit sensitive identity documents in a public text field.

Google Maps Platform

ClubLitty uses Google Maps Platform to retrieve place suggestions, search results, venue details and maps. Google may process requests under the Google Privacy Policy. ClubLitty stores durable Google Place IDs where a venue relationship is needed; it does not use the search database as a permanent copy of Google place content.

How we use information

We use submitted information to operate search, save user choices, verify venue claims, moderate contributions, respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, improve the product and comply with applicable law.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell submitted personal information. Service providers may process information needed to host, secure and operate ClubLitty. Claim evidence and moderation history are retained only as reasonably necessary for verification, fraud prevention, safety and legal obligations. Uploaded photos are stored with account and venue metadata so they can be displayed and managed.

Transient ChatGPT plugin search inputs and Google venue results are not stored by ClubLitty after the request. Approved ClubLitty live reports remain available only until their stated expiration. Venue claim evidence and related moderation records are reviewed at least annually and deleted when they are no longer needed for ownership verification, dispute handling, abuse prevention or legal duties.
